Transition workout - sprint triathlon preparation
Aim:
- To setup a correct transition area
- To execute multiple transitions
- To get familiar with the best practices
What to bring:
- Bicycle gear
- Running gear
- Fuel
- Small towel
- Elastics

Prepare the bicycle with shoes on using elastics to hold them in place, in a way that they will not touch the surface. Use soft elastics which will not brake with the weight of the shoes, but will be weak enough when you start pedalling.
Warm up with an easy run for 10/15 minutes and practice the first transition from run to bike.
Ride for 45 minutes building effort to hard in the last 5 minutes.
Execute the second transition from bike to run.
Run for 10 minutes with a sustained race effort.
Cool down and stretch.
